The two applications that make up the PayPal e-commerce connectivity solution are Payflow Link and Payflow Pro. Payflow Link is an HTTP-based solution; ideal for businesses seeking an efficient means of conducting secure automated transactions over the Internet. Payflow Link allows merchants to connect their prospective customers to a secure PayPal-hosted order form. This form is used to automate order acceptance, authorization, processing and the management of transactions and is accessed by adding a hyperlink from the merchant web site to PayPal, the secure host.
